Pricing

  • You can view our service pricing in the SERVICES section of the website, where you'll find a full breakdown of prices for all services.

  • The Lactation Studio currently does not accept insurance; however, your CLC can provide a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please note that payment is required upfront if you are requesting a Superbill.

The Lactation Studio gladly accepts HSA and FSA payments at my standard rate. We also offer PayPal Pay in 4, which allows you to split your payment into four interest-free installments over six weeks—making it easier to access care without added financial stress. Just select PayPal at checkout and choose “Pay in 4” (if eligible).

  • Our office is conveniently located at LOCATION.

  • Yes, we have a comfortable waiting room available for your convenience.

  • Yes, parking is available right outside the office.

  • After booking, you will receive an email with instructions on what to bring to your appointment.

  • Simply click on the "Book An Appointment" button on my website to schedule your session.

  • Travel Fees for In-Home Sessions

We charge a travel fee for all in-home sessions. The fee ranges from $25 to $100, depending on the distance. Once your appointment is booked and your location is confirmed, we will inform you of the exact fee.

  • If there are tolls or paid parking required, the patient is responsible for covering these costs.

If you purchase a flange or any other tools during your session, payment is due at the time of the visit. Payments can be made in person or charged to the credit card on file.

Appointments and Scheduling

  • We understand that life with a baby can be unpredictable, but we require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. When you book an appointment, that time is reserved specifically for you, and late cancellations or no-shows prevent us from assisting other families who need help during this critical time.

A $200 fee will apply for late cancellations or missed appointments. If you reschedule, this fee will be applied toward your next visit, and if insurance covers the session, we will reimburse the fee. However, rescheduling and then canceling again will result in the fee being charged without reimbursement. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us avoid scheduling issues and ensuring we can provide care to all families in need.

  • Please let us know if you're running late, and we will do our best to accommodate you with the time remaining in your appointment. Follow-up visits can be scheduled as needed.

  • If you are sick, we will need to reschedule the session. However, if someone in your household is sick but not in close proximity to where the session will take place, we can proceed as planned. In such cases, please have a mask available for us to use, or you may choose to visit our office in Brooklyn, NY or opt for a virtual session until everyone is feeling better.

Inclusive Care and Services

  • Yes, I absolutely work with families who choose to bottle feed or use a combination of feeding methods. I offer expert guidance on bottle feeding and bottle refusal, among other services.

  • Yes, of course! I welcome all families, and I am committed to providing inclusive care for everyone.

  • According to the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice, a Certified Lactation Counselor® (CLC®) is a professional who has demonstrated the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to provide clinical breastfeeding counseling and management support to families who are thinking about breastfeeding or who have questions or challenges during their lactation journey.

CLCs offer one-on-one virtual or in-person lactation consultations, breastfeeding and pumping classes, and compassionate support to empower parents throughout their feeding experience.

The majority of breastfeeding concerns fall well within the scope of practice for a CLC. That said, I never hesitate to refer to an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) when additional evaluation or advanced care is needed. If you're unsure which type of provider is right for your situation, please feel free to reach out. If I’m not the right fit, I’m always happy to help connect you with someone who is.

  • Choosing a qualified Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) can make a meaningful difference in your infant feeding journey. CLCs are trained professionals who provide evidence-based support for common breastfeeding and chestfeeding challenges, including latch issues, nipple pain, milk supply concerns, and pumping.

As part of your care team, CLCs offer guidance from the prenatal period through weaning, helping you navigate feeding with confidence and compassion. Each visit is focused on your unique needs, ensuring practical, hands-on support tailored to both you and your baby.

While CLCs are highly skilled in addressing a wide range of concerns, it’s important to choose a counselor whose training and experience align with your specific goals. Always ask about their background, areas of focus, and comfort level with the challenges you're facing—so you can feel fully supported every step of the way.
